About Portable Antenna

The existing infrastructure established in GEO (Geostationary Earth Orbit) for broadcast applications is also capable of supporting broadband internet services. While the market for LEO (Low Earth Orbit) terminal development is currently highly active, the deployment of GEO satellites for internet connectivity remains a viable solution.
In response to the demand for the optimal utilization of GEO satellite assets, MinWave has introduced a portable terminal. Featuring a foldable, portable architecture and supported by a high-performance modem, this terminal enables bidirectional data transmission (uplink/downlink) from any location. This system facilitates reliable connectivity in remote environments such as deserts, forests, and other areas where terrestrial network coverage is unavailable.

Why Minwave's Portable Antenna?

Satcom Operator Independent

One of the unique features of MinWave’s portable terminal is its multi-operator compatibility, allowing it to interface with a diverse spectrum of satellite network operators. This approach stands in contrast to the industry trend of vendor lock-in, where terminals are exclusively provisioned for a single satellite service provider.

Electronically Steerable Antenna

Equipped with a steerable antenna array and electronic beamforming capabilities, the system enables seamless satellite handover without the need for mechanical reorientation.

Foldable Design

The unique design and implementation of the foldable reflector, combined with the terminal’s rapid deployment and stowage capability, significantly enhance the user experience across all operational environments. The system’s form factor is optimized for portability, allowing the entire terminal to be stowed in a standard laptop-sized carry case.
