About Broadcast Terminal

Connecting to broadcast satellites for media reception has now become an unavoidable requirement and necessity. However, the conventional Dish and LNB setup has limitations when communicating with multiple satellites, and the need to deploy multi-LNB configurations along with their installation and maintenance costs are among the drawbacks of current conventional solutions.
Today, thanks to advancements in beamforming technology and MinWave’s expertise in developing SATCOM terminals, it is now possible to connect to multiple satellites without the need for installation and alignment, using a Broadcast terminals.
In addition, this type of product is not limited to a only receive architecture. Users can transmit their desired content list through a low-capacity TX link.
The Broadcast terminal product is developed based on Salvia™ platform and will be offered in two models, Salvia RX and Salvia RX/TX, which utilize TX links via TN and NTN respectively, and will be available in both Small and Standard sizes.
Furthermore, the adoption of DVB-NIP technology enables content distribution over an IP-based devices.

Why Minwave's Broadcast terminals?

Lower Maintenance Cost

MinWave’s Broadcast terminals remove the need for installation, maintenance, and periodic dish realignment, enabling fast and hassle-free deployment virtually anywhere even in compact locations such as balconies.

Return Link Option

Users can easily share their desired content and channel requests with the service provider through either a terrestrial network (TN) connection or the integrated low-capacity TX link (NTN).

Content Monetization

MinWave’s Broadcast solution provides a platform for content monetization and broadcast-based communications, enabling service providers to efficiently deliver customized content that meets user demands.

Multicast Through the DVB-NIP

The use of DVB-NIP technology enables multiple devices to access the content received by the terminal. The dedicated Indoor Unit (IDU) for this terminal is designed to seamlessly share content across laptops, smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs, providing users with a flexible and connected viewing experience.
